Wandering Jew is fast growing hanging plant. Tradescantia albiflora is it's botanical name. Wandering Jew plant has felshy stems and lots of leaves that are lance shaped. It's leaves grow up tp 5 cm long and are usually deep green to purple color. Wandering Jew can be used as an outside plant also. Indoors it will do well in bright but not direct sunlight. Wandering Jew plant needs to get it's stems trimmed. This will encourage branching of plant. It will also prevent plant for getting leggy. Tops of the leaves should be pinched off. This will cause your plant to have a more fuller and bushier look. Wandering Jew grows the most during spring and summer. If your Wandering Jew plant has lots of space between the leaves then you might consider putting your plant in a much more brighter place with more sunlight. Wandering Jew is a plant that needs a lot of sunlight. This plant does great in hanging baskets. It's stem can grow up to 60 cm long. This is an invasive plant that grows really fast and takes over other plants if planted outdoors. Wandering Jew is an excellent plant to use as ground cover. It just needs a lot of moist soil. Wandering Jew can also be propagated in the water then put in moist soil to make it's roots stronger. The soil should be moist in growing season but slightly drier in winter.
